nway, would anyone share some tactics on how to beat troll 1 on 1? xD

techinically, any player can, if he's skilled enough that is.
but a smart player never lets a troll farm.

if you want an early-gamer, go with Obsidian Destroyer, Shadow Shaman or Tinker perhaps (any nuker will do).
just harass all the way. haha.
finish the game within 30 minutes and don't let troll farm or its GG.

hahaha.
if you want a late-gamer, i'm gonna go with Barathrum or Naix.
item build: power treads, assault cuirass, s&y/MoM/manta/deso (naix), butterfly (optional), MKB, HoT/BKB.

Personal Preference
gonna go with Shadow Shaman.
item build: BoT/Phase Boots, BloodStone, Kelen's Dagger, Guinsoo, Scepter/HoT.
just finish the game, before troll farms big time.

btw, thats just my opinion.

IMO Rhasta would be useless with Wards on cooldown. xD

Here's what I did (to someone ). Broodmother with Vlad's and blade mail. Push hard and finish the game in like 10 mins. This goes to any other hero, 1v1, as well. xD

You shouldn't make Butterfly optional. That would be a good item to counter Troll

Obsidian's a bad idea. :p
Troll would just cast his skill that makes you miss and then he won't worry about the skill of Obsidian although Troll would be having a hard time killing Obsidian if Obsidian has its "disappearing" skill.


Viper could be good against him, I think.

I'm not sure with Traxex. Maybe you can have Lothars for Traxex for killing and running away. Keep cheapshotting Troll so it couldn't farm. Anyway, Traxex has a big damage especially if True Shot is fixed.

I think Barathrum can stand a chance against him too. hehehe! Bash has a big help.

Anyways, it's the user that matters, and the items! :p

its optional for me, haha
i usually get the butterfly for the MoM or manta.

and a good counter for butterfly is the MKB (true strike) 0% miss FTW.
if troll is skilled, he'll surely get an MKB.

oh yeah, troll is weak against obsidian in early game.
but it actually depends on the user.

yup2. Broodmother dominates in 1v1. (forgot the queen of push)

If he uses black king bar then just run away or Imprison yourself or something until the 10 secs are off. Then OD does his thing. xD

Still, for me the best way is to finish the game early.
